How To Repair A Loose Tooth

Dental care can be very expensive, but some basic dental work like tooth repair is actually simple. If you are missing a tooth, it is not too hard to reattach the crown so that you can have a full smile again.

If you have a loose tooth that is not causing any pain or discomfort, it may be best to leave it alone. If the tooth is loose and causes pain when chewing or speaking, there are several steps you can take to repair it.

First, make an appointment with a dentist for loose tooth restoration. Loose teeth can cause problems with chewing and speaking and need to be corrected as soon as possible.

Second, determine if the loose tooth needs to be removed altogether. If the tooth is only loose but does not need to be removed due to its location (for example, in the front of your mouth), you may be able to fix it using dental adhesive or a dental bridge. A dental bridge is a type of restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth with a secure implant supported by wires. A dental adhesive is applied to the loose tooth and then secured in place by your dentist.

If the tooth needs to be removed because it is loose AND located in an area where it could cause other damage (for example, behind your front teeth), oral surgery will be required. During oral surgery, your surgeon will remove the loose tooth and replace it with a fixed prosthetic device.
